Suspect A was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison. Suspect A drove a car without a driver's license at around 11 a.m. on May 30th and hit pedestrian Mr. B, requiring approximately 6 weeks of medical treatment.
He was brought to court on suspicion of causing serious injury. At the time, Suspect A's blood alcohol concentration was 0.081%. During this process, suspect A gave his sister's resident registration number to the police in order to avoid punishment.
It was discovered that he had lied about his identity by informing him of personal matters and signing his name using his sister's name. In 2021, Suspect A was sentenced to one year in prison and suspended for violating the Road Traffic Act (Drunk Driving) by the court.
He was sentenced to two years. The court ruled, ``Despite being on probation, he caused an accident injuring the victim by driving without a license and while intoxicated, and also pretended to be his sister.''
"The nature of the crime is not good, as he forged signatures and private documents to police officers," he said, explaining the reason for his sentencing.
