[Official] ”INFINITE” Sungkyu selected as the main character of the musical ”Dear Evan Hansen”..Premiered in March

Singer Kim Seong Kyu (INFINITE) has become the main character in the musical "Dear Evan Hansen."
Sunggyu will be appearing in the musical “Dear Evan Ha” which will open on March 28th.
He played the role of the main character, Evan Hansen, in ``Nsen''. "Dear Evan Hansen" premiered in Washington DC in 2015, and was nominated for the 71st Tony Awards in 2017.
It was nominated in 48 categories at the ``2018 Grammy Awards'' and ``2020 Laurence Olivier Awards,'' sweeping 26 categories and receiving the top prize.
He joined the ranks of high school musicals. In ``Dear Evan Hansen,'' Sunggyu plays Evan Hansen, a timid and lonely man who writes letters to himself every day and dreams of a wonderful day when he can act like himself.
He accepted the role of Hansen. Sunggyu said, ``When I read the scenario for the first time, I was filled with heart-wrenching emotion.I felt that Evan's story was the story of all of us living in modern society.
``I found that point very attractive,'' he said of his impressions of the casting. He added, ``I am honored to be able to share the premiere of a work that so many people have loved and waited for.
"I will create a wonderful character with all my heart and show you a great stage," he added with strong determination, raising the expectations of global fans.
Musical “Dear Evan Hansen” starring Sunggyu will be released for the first time in Asia
The performance will be held at the Chungmu Art Center Grand Theater in Seoul from March 28th to June 23rd.
