Food poisoning bacteria detected in some ``custard''... ``Mostly recovered'' = Korea Orion Co., Ltd.

Food poisoning bacteria have been detected in some Orion Custard products. As a result, former manufacturer Orion immediately recalled most of the products in question.
On the 3rd, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety announced that custard (sweets) manufactured and sold at Orion's No. 4 Cheongju Factory was infected with Staphylococcus aureus, a food-poisoning bacterium.
As bacteria was detected, the company announced that it would stop selling the product and take recall measures. The recall targets products with an expiry date of June 21st. The manufacturing date is December 22nd of last year.
The content per box (12 pieces) is 276g, and the shipping amount is 1318.2kg. This is the result of Orion's request for self-quality inspection last month. According to the current Food Sanitation Law, food
Products must voluntarily undergo self-quality inspection through a third-party organization. Orion was informed of this detection the day before and immediately recalled most of the products in question.
