A current doctor who gave drugs as a birthday present to the ”blackmailer” director of an entertainment facility is arrested and indicted...Did the drugs flow to the late Lee Sun Kyun?

A plastic surgeon suspected of giving drugs as a birthday present to a female office manager (29) of an entertainment facility involved in a celebrity drug case was indicted in custody.

　According to the legal community on August 17, the Inchon (Incheon) District Public Prosecutor's Office's Strong Department detained and indicted Mr. A, 42, an orthopedic surgeon, on suspicion of violations related to the management of narcotics the day before.

　Mr. A is suspected of providing drugs to Ms. B, the head of the women's office at an entertainment facility in Gangnam, Seoul, and Ms. B stated during police questioning that Mr. A gave her Hiropon and other drugs as a birthday present.

　The police are investigating the possibility that Mr. A provided Ms. B with drugs without separate payment, and that these drugs were passed on to the late actor Lee Sung-kyun.

　Last month, the police referred Mr. A to the prosecutors, who extended his detention period and have been investigating him.

　Meanwhile, Mr. A is a doctor who has appeared on TV in the past in health programs. The hospital he runs has been repeatedly accused of overprescribing propofol for a simple procedure and was warned by the authorities.
