Fire at a large church in Guro-gu, Seoul... 4,000 believers evacuated

A fire broke out at a large church in Guro-gu, Seoul, causing an incident in which more than 4,000 people were evacuated.
Seoul Guro Fire Department responded to the fire at around 3:40 p.m. on the 28th in Gung-dong, Guro-gu.
It was revealed that the fire started from the ceiling of the rest room on the first floor of a large church. The fire did not cause any loss of life, but more than 4,000 people, including worshipers, were evacuated outside the church.
It was determined that the fire had burned part of the electrical panel for a heating device on the ceiling of the first floor. Fire authorities were able to completely extinguish the fire at around 4:16 p.m., 36 minutes after it started.
Fire authorities believe that the fire was caused by overheating of the distribution board due to heating equipment operating, and are currently investigating the exact cause of the fire.
