“TVXQ” makes first appearance on “Immortal Masterpiece”… “RedVelvet” IRENE & Seulgi and other juniors appear in special feature on 20th anniversary of debut

KBS2's "Immortal Hits" will feature Artist TVXQ.

　According to KBS2's "Immortal Songs," "K-Pop legend" TVXQ was confirmed to appear on the program on the 1st. The special feature is that it will be the first appearance of "TVXQ" on "Immortal Music" and the first time in nine years since "god" that an idol artist will be featured on the show.

　Red Velvet's Irene & Seulgi, ONF, LA POEM, KARDI, ZEROBASEONE, JD1 (Jung Dong-won), and others will participate to perform a new interpretation of "TVXQ's" classic songs. It is expected to confirm the musical influence of "TVXQ" and its position in the K-pop industry, and at the same time, it will serve as an example of innovative attempts at "immortal songs".

　The recording, which will be held at the KBS New Wing Open Hall on Feb 5th, will look back on the past 20 years with "TVXQ," and will feature junior artists who admire their music.

　The producers of "Enduring Masterpieces" stated, "With the artist 'TVXQ' featured, many idols have requested to perform," and revealed, "To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the second generation of idols, 'TVXQ,' we want to show the power of K-POP leading the current global scene."

　Meanwhile, "Immortal Songs" will air every Saturday at 6:10 p.m. in Korea.
