On the afternoon of the 4th, Jung Jae-hyun's YouTube channel "Fairy Jae hyun" posted a video titled "I know why I believe and watch your acting... You are really nice Go-eun."
In the released video, Kim Go-eun said, "If it's a 'launch' of something work-related, you actually have to be on your toes and drink. You have to walk around and talk, and if you keep the ratio of water and alcohol the same, you will not get drunk easily. I drink in such a way that I can adjust the ratio of alcohol to water," she said.
In response, Jung Jae-hyun said, "I feel a bit like a leading actor." Kim Go-eun said, "It was rumored that I drink a lot, but it was because of the way I looked. I was patient and drank a lot, but I didn't get drunk, so these rumors started to appear."
Kim Go-eun, who won a whopping eight awards for her debut film "Ungyo: Blue Honey," said, "Fortunately, I thought, 'I'm going to be an actor who takes it one step further. It was the best I could do at the time.
Kim Go-eun's first drama was Cheese in the Trap. Kim Go-eun said, "There would be vague fears. With a huge amount. Actually, I did it for my grandmother. She lived there for about six years, just the two of us with her grandmother. Grandma's favorite pastime was watching TV dramas. I wanted to do it for my grandma, for the drama."
She continued, "I didn't know much about dramas completely, even when I was just doing 'Dokkebi'. Even in 'Cheese in the Trap,' he was really very considerate. They told me to act freely and I did the dishes, but they shot 40-odd shots. I thought in my mind, 'This is really hard work,' but they all gathered all the lines in the direction of my movement and line of sight. I didn't know that. I understood by the atmosphere when I tried it. I thought it must have been hard for the crew because I didn't know what I was doing. I learned a lot of technical things such as how to reduce the line of sight because I worked on "Dokkebi" all night long," she laughed.
In "Dokkebi," Kim Go-eun delivered the famous line, "I love you." Kim Go-eun said, "I don't know if it was my character, but it was nothing (that particularly floated my boat). At the time of filming, if it was a location shoot, there were so many people watching. At first, I went into one sundae (Korean intestinal food) soup restaurant and when I came out, I was surrounded by a wave of people. That made me realize that our drama was going very well. For example, I actually think that if I were wearing a mask, no one would recognize me. People just walk by because I don't stand out a tremendous amount and I don't wear clothes that are noticeable. They really don't seem to recognize me," she replied, attracting attention.
"There is something very sad and disturbing about being no good. I take wages as wages, and I think it's a hint of conscience and sense of responsibility. I also really feel that I have to 'do what I'm paid for' in jest. It would be meaningless to do mass cultural art if no one sees it. I wanted as many people as possible to see it, and even if they say bad things about it, I hope they will watch it and say bad things about it," she added.
Kim Go-eun chose the movie "Byeonsan" as her next film after "Dokkebi. In response, Kim Go-eun said, "After 'Dokkebi' ended, I had a burnout. I became afraid to meet people and thought I would never meet them. In this job, moments like this will come again and again, and I couldn't not do the work each time. That role was fortunately one-topped by Park Jung-min, and I was in a supporting role. Originally, Jungmin and I were very close since college, so it seemed very soothing and there seemed to be nothing to be afraid of. I heard so many stories about how happy director Lee Joon-ik was on set, and I wanted to overcome them while doing it."
