[Individual interview] Actor Lomon talks about the TV series ”Branding in Seongsu-dong” and his future ”If I want to start my own brand, it's a restaurant”

Lomon is attracting attention as the next breakout actor in the TV series "Now Our School..." and "Revenge by Proxy." We interviewed him when he came to Japan for his second Fan Meeting.
We asked them to ask questions about the latest TV series ``Branding in Seongsu-dong,'' the brand they would like to launch, their future goals, and more.
Q. How was the Fan Meeting? It was a lot of fun and I was very impressed. Beautiful moments with fans
I was able to pass the time. We worked hard to prepare J-POP, and we would be happy if everyone who came to the Fan Meeting enjoyed it. Q.
"Branding in Seishui-do" has been streamed on the video STREAM service "Lemino" since February 5th. This work is about the area where trends are born and the mecca of branding.
A love story set in a marketing company in Seongsu-dong, Ulu, where the souls of Kang NaEon, the grumpy youngest girl and the oldest intern, and Seo Eunho, the oldest intern, switch places.
Mance. How did you feel when you first received the offer? When I first read the script, I realized that the souls of Kang NaEon and Seo Eunho, two people with completely different personalities, were swapped.
I really liked the content. So, I thought that if I decided to do this work, I would be able to show various aspects of myself and new acting that I have never shown before, so I decided to do this work.
I wanted to try making this work. Of course, it is a very interesting work, so I decided to appear in it. Q. Speaking of Lomon, you have a strong image of being a student from the Gakuen TV Series.
However, this time's character is an intern working at the company. How did you prepare for the role? First, I had to get in shape, so I worked out hard. acting
In the main part, we explore various concerns about the tension of Seo Eun-ho, a clumsy but gentle person, and the charismatic figure he has become since he was replaced by Kang NaEon's soul.
Ta. On set, I had a lot of discussions with Kim JiWoon, who plays Kang NaEon, and that's how I prepared for my role. Q. Was there anything difficult about acting?
When I swapped souls with Kang NaEon, I had a lot of trouble figuring out how to make it look like we had actually swapped souls. However, fortunately, I did a lot of reading
I often communicated with Moo Ji-eun and shared videos of her performances, so I said to her, ``This is how I acted (Kang NaEon). There are points like this.'' certain
After I approved it, I was able to perform. The director also gave me a lot of support, so I think I was able to successfully portray the parts that I was worried about in the actual version.
Q. Are there any similarities between you and Seo Eunho? I thought they really looked similar (lol). I thought it was Lomon (lol). That's how much synchronization rate
It was expensive. I also think positive thinking and a lively feeling are similar. So I think the people around me think they are similar. Actually I am Uno
Her personality is a mixture of Naon's and Naon's, so I think her Lomon-like side came out whether she was playing Eunho or Naon.
Q. What was the atmosphere like on the set?
All of my co-stars and staff members quickly got to know each other and became close friends, so it's always a pleasure to work with them.
I think it was a scene full of laughter. I had good chemistry with my co-stars, and we had a fun and happy time just by making eye contact. Between filming, all the actors and staff work together.
-When I was betting on coffee, we often played rock, paper, scissors or other games to see who could throw a plastic bottle cap the farthest, but Kim JiWoon lost for three days in a row.
There were times when I ended up spending a lot of money (lol). As I got to the middle of filming, the amount of filming increased and I became very busy, and there were times when I felt tired and sleepy, but I also had no time to rest.
It was fun, so I went to places where everyone was gathered and spent the time talking and playing games without falling asleep.
Q. Was Lomon the atmosphere maker on the set?
At first, it was me and Kim JiWoon who took the initiative to liven up the scene, but after we all became friends, we started working with Jung JUNHO (Chu) from the "underdog" team.
(Rex), Jung Ilhan (Ri Young Ae), and Choi Soo Ah (Park Jennie) played a central role in creating a fun atmosphere.
Q. In the drama, Seo Eun-ho enjoys surfing and traveling around the world in order to enjoy his once-in-a-lifetime life, and then starts job hunting.
Kang NaEon has sacrificed friendship and love for the sake of success. Which side is Lomon closest to? I am more similar to Kang NaEon than Seo Eunho, so I
I have a strong sense of responsibility and desire to accomplish things. Therefore, I continue to practice related to acting on a regular basis, so I prioritize work over play.
I think. If I were to be reborn, I would live a life like Uno, where I would try to enjoy each day by surfing, traveling the world, eating delicious food, etc.
Yes. Q. Did you make any new discoveries after encountering this work? I think each time I come across a piece of work, I am influenced by it in a different way. Playing Eunho has made my personality very bright.
I think I've become more extroverted. Therefore, each time you come across a new work, a new version of yourself emerges and you can discover a new self.
Q. In the movie, souls are swapped through kissing. If you were to swap souls, who would you swap with and what would you do?
I have to kiss her (lol). That's the most difficult part (lol). Well...I'd like to switch places with the soul of an eagle. Become an eagle and fly high in the sky
I'd like to see it. The eagle is strong and has almost no enemies, so it doesn't get attacked, and I want to fly around in the sky and then kiss Lomon again and return to Lomon (lol).
Q. This question is related to the title of the TV Series. If you were to start your own brand, what would you like to create?
I had never thought about it, but if I were to create a brand, it would definitely be a brand related to me. Clothes, sunglasses, etc. are fine.
I think so... I like cooking, so it would be nice to have a restaurant where I can eat food made by Lomon. I like wine, so if I have a chance, I would like to serve wine as well.
I would like to try it someday. Please buy a lot then! (lol). Q. Lomon says that Lee Byung Hun is his role model.
What are you trying to do to become like an actor? He's a really great actor, so I want to become an actor like Lee Byung Hun. Written by Lee Byung Hun

I want you to say "I love you" to you (lol). Q. What kind of role would you like to play in the future? I want to become an actor with a wide range of acting skills, so I want to act in everything I can.
. I would like to try any genre, be it romance, comedy, or a human TV series. Q. What are you into lately?
As expected, I am most addicted to acting. I'm currently filming a new production, so I'll be playing a role in that production.
It's fun and I'm really into the character. I have a lot to learn from filming with my seniors who are so amazing and respect me, and right now I'm focusing on acting the most.
I'm addicted to it. Q. Your smile is very attractive, what is it that makes you smile? I think everything on a daily basis makes me do that. To all the fans who came to Japan
Spending precious time with them, doing interviews like this, and of course eating delicious food makes me feel very happy and in a good mood. Everything really makes me smile
It will let you. Q. What kind of year do you want 2024 to be? I want this year to be a year where I can encounter many works and work hard to grow as an actor. Through the work

This is our second Fan Meeting in Japan, so there are still many things we haven't done yet, but I want to sing and listen to more songs. All that's left is an opportunity
If I were to open my own restaurant someday, I would love to cook and serve them. -- It would be nice if we could drink wine together.
