“Squid Game” star Oh YoungSoo is on the KBS appearance restriction list due to “forced indecency charges”

It has become difficult to watch actor Oh YoungSoo on KBS. As a result of an interview with E-Daily on the 8th, South Korea's KBS recently decided to ``refrain from offering appearances'' to Oh YoungSoo.
This decision was made after he was sentenced to one year in prison on charges of forcible indecency. Oh YoungSoo hugged a woman, Mr. A, on the promenade in August 2017, and kissed her on the cheek in front of Mr. A's residence in September of the same year.
He was charged with two counts of forcible indecency. Although Oh YoungSoo has denied the charges, prosecutors recently requested a one-year prison sentence at the final trial. The sentencing hearing will be held on March 15th.
Ru. Oh YoungSoo gained popularity after appearing in the Netflix TV series "Squid Game" released in 2021. The following year, he was awarded the Best Television Award at the Golden Globe Awards ceremony for the work in question.
He won the Best Actor Award.
