Director Yang Woo-suk reveals his thoughts after Oh Young-soo's performance in the film ”Big Family” was completely edited out after she was accused of indecent assault and replaced by Lee Seung-jae

The movie "Big Family" has edited out all of the scenes starring actor Oh Young-Soo. "Big Family" is about the family of a famous dumpling restaurant, "Byeonman-ok," whose business is cut short when the son (Lee Seung Gi) becomes a monk.
The story is about a company president (Kim Yun Seok) whose adorable grandchildren arrive and begin living with him in unexpected and absurd ways.
Previously, Oh Young Soo had been traveling to various regions in the summer of 2017 for a theater performance.
He stayed there for about two months, and in August of that year, he embraced the victim, Ms. A, on a walking path, and in September, he kissed her on the cheek in front of Ms. A's residence, committing two acts of indecent assault.
Oh Young-Soo denied the allegations, saying that it was true that she had held Mr. A's hand and visited his residence, but that she had not committed any lewd acts. However, in the first trial, the court ruled that the victim, Chen
The court found her testimony to be consistent and sentenced her to eight months in prison, suspended for two years. It also ordered her to complete a 40-hour sexual assault treatment program.
In response, the production team decided to edit out all of Oh Young-Soo's footage and to include actor Lee Seung-jae.
In relation to this, director Yang Woo-suk said, "The monk's role is not large, but it is an important scene. I was worried about who would take his place since Oh Young-soo was no longer able to play.
"I also felt the same way in my heart, and many people around me said that Professor Lee Seung-jae seemed like the best person for the job, so I called Professor Lee Seung-jae," she said.
He added, "I showed him the script and asked if he would be able to appear in it, and he said he could do it in just two days, so I was able to hear his lines."
Director Yang Woo-suk also commented, "It was very unfortunate, but we were able to turn it into a blessing," and "Lee Seung-ji

Now that they have overcome the crisis thanks to Jae, attention is focused on whether they will be able to convey their warm sincerity.
