The Los Angeles Tourism Authority of the United States will launch the ``Now Playing'' campaign with the goal of attracting 330,000 Korean tourists. The goal of 330,000 Korean visitors is due to COVID-19
This is more than double the number in 2019, before the virus spread. This campaign, which will run until May, is LA's initiative targeting major countries around the world to attract inbound tourists.
This is a global campaign. The LA Tourism Authority explained, ``This year's ``LA is Now Showing'' is the largest campaign to date.''
The six 15-second campaign videos feature arts and culture, outdoor and wellness, and stardom.
With the theme of geology, attractions, shopping, and gourmet food, it includes tourist information about LA and the city's young and free atmosphere. The footage is from the Hollywood sign, Griffith Observatory, and the Academy Film Expo.
It was created by adding motion graphics to famous places such as museums. The video, which was specially produced targeting Korean tourists, features the background music of the up-and-coming KP from SM Entertainment.
OP star RIIZE's debut song "Get A Guitar" was used. The campaign video will be available online on major portal sites, VOD, SNS, etc. until May.
