After their public relationship, they have kept each other updated with recent news by mentioning each other, but last November, after seven years of public passionate love, they put an end to it and went back to being colleagues instead of lovers.

When allegations of their relationship were raised, Hye Ri posted a statement saying that it was 'interesting' and cancelled her social networking following of Ryu Jun Yeol, which she had maintained even after their breakup. This led to continued speculation by netizens that Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee might have had a 'transfer romance'. In response, a representative from Hye's agency, Creative Group ING, said, "There are no words to say in relation to the SNS postings."

To this, Han So Hee replied. Han So Hee denied all allegations by posting the statement, "I like the show 'Transfer Love' but not in my life", as "I do not like people who have lovers, but I do not give them room under the name of friend, interest, grant relationship or interfere with others' love.
