LG Magna receives certification for automotive cybersecurity management system = South Korean report
LG Magna, a joint venture between LG Electronics and Canadian Auto Parts Magna International, which develops powertrains for electric vehicles (EVs), has recently received certification from the German certification body TÜV Lei.
The company announced that it has received certification for its Automotive Cyber Security Management System (CSMS) from Japan.
In June 2020, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) released a report on automotive cybersecurity and its management system.
Adopted the cybersecurity law "UNECE R-155" regarding systems. It came into effect in January 2021. In accordance with this law, from July 2024, we will receive CSMS certification.
