Today (2nd April), Song Kang will enter the Army Recruit Training Centre and begin his active military life. No separate events will be held on this day.
His agency recently announced, "We ask for the warm love and support of many people so that Song Kang can faithfully fulfil his duty of national defence and come back with a more mature and healthy appearance."
On the 1st of last month, the day before his enlistment, Song Kang expressed his feelings to his fans through a letter in his own handwriting. He informed them of his military enlistment, saying, "I'm wondering where to begin to tell you the words" and "I'm finally going".
He continued, "To all the Songpyeon (fans) who have met me since my debut in 2017 and since then. It seems like I was always there because you were always there. So many memories, so many months have gone by like a running lantern these days. I always write in my gratitude diary before I go to sleep these days, and I have so many things to thank Songpyeon for. I am so thankful for the birthdays, anniversaries, fan meetings and other events that filled my twenties with meaningful and meaningful times.
Song Kang concluded by saying that he would be happy if it became a meaningful time for everyone in Songpyeon to do what they wanted to do during this period and to find themselves, and promised that he would "go there healthy, careful and happy".
The Netflix drama 'SWEET HOME 3', for which Song Kang has finished filming, will be released this summer while he is serving in the military. Expectations are high for Song Kang's future progress as he returns after completing his military service in good health.
Meanwhile, Song Kang made his debut in 2017 in tvN's 'She Loves Lies Too Much'. He also appeared in the dramas 'SWEET HOME', 'Nabirella', 'Even though I Know', 'People of the Weather Bureau' and 'My Demon' and was much loved.
