The Republic of Korea National Brand Awards is organized by the Korea Committee for the Republic of Korea National Brand Awards, which is sponsored by the New York Festivals, one of the world's three largest advertising festivals.
The NCI is calculated based on the brand's recognition, representativeness, satisfaction, loyalty, and global competitiveness.
Every year, the No. 1 brand in each category is selected and announced through the rankings. Samyang Ramen received high marks in all indicators and won first place in the instant noodle category. In particular, Samyang Ramen is the first instant noodle brand in Korea with a 60-year history.
The ramen was highly praised in the brand recognition category, starting with its seat-side noodles. It was also recognized for its leadership in the globalization of K-ramen.

A senior executive at the Brand Strategy Office said, "It is an honor for Samyang Ramen to receive the award in the instant noodle category at the awards ceremony hosted by the New York Festivals, one of the world's three major advertising festivals.
"With the mindset that this is the representative instant noodles with a 60-year history, we will continue to ensure our competitiveness not only in Japan but also globally, and raise the status of K-food," he said.
