South Korean ruling party candidate: ”Is this a trial for the government? We should face it with a trial for crimes”... ”We should think of this as 'National Clean-up Day'”

On the 8th, Jang Sun-min, a candidate for the ruling People Power Party who was a future strategy planning officer in the South Korean presidential office, said, "The ruling party is against the opposition party's government trial theory, with a crime trial theory, and against the prosecutor's dictatorship, with a crime trial theory.
"We must stand up to the dictatorship and the prosecutorial republic with a criminal republic," he said. Candidate Chang said on Facebook on the same day, "Compared to the previous National Assembly, the next National Assembly will be a criminal one.
"We must transform the 'bulletproof' National Assembly, which has become a refuge for the people, into a true hall of public opinion dedicated to restoring people's livelihoods," he wrote.
He continued, "To achieve this, the people must recognize this general election as a 'National Cleansing Day' with the resolve to wage a 'war against criminals', and only then will we be able to achieve political evolution, economic growth, and historical progress.
"It is possible," he stressed.
