Cho Kuk, leader of the Fatherland Reform Party, proposes meeting with President Yoon Seok-yeol, saying, ”I hope to meet you anytime, in any format.” (South Korea)
Cho Kuk, chairman of the Fatherland Reform Party, proposed an official meeting with President Yoon, saying, "As the leader of the third largest party in the National Assembly, I hope to meet with President Yoon Seok-yeol at any time and in any format."
On the 14th, Cho wrote on Facebook, "There is something I would like to say in a polite and firm manner at the public meeting. The response from the Presidential Office in Yongsan to this request for disclosure was
"I look forward to your response," he said. "President Yoon did not meet with me because he had the goal of arresting Lee Jae-myung, the chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea (the opposition party), before the general election.
"They probably believed that if they could use the prosecution to defeat their political opponents, they would be able to win the general election and regain power. That is a shameful and shallow way of thinking.
However, President Yoon failed to achieve his goal, and the People Power Party suffered a crushing defeat in the general elections."
