"The delegation, which departed from Pyongyang on the 13th, will stay in Russia for six days and conduct scientific and medical research.
The Russian Embassy in North Korea announced that they would discuss ways to cooperate in the field of education. Prior to this, a delegation from the North Korean Ministry of Education, headed by Minister of Education Kim Sun-du, also visited Russia.
After discussing ways to cooperate, he returned to the country on the 13th. North Korea and Russia have not had any relations since the summit between North Korean leader Kim Jung Eun and Russian President Vladimir Putin in September last year.
Since then, North Korea has been increasing exchanges between its high-ranking officials. North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui met with President Putin in Moscow in January, and North Korean Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Yoon Jong-ho visited Russia in March.
From the Russian side, Primorsky Krai Governor Oleg Kozhemyako and Deputy Minister of Culture Andrey Malyshev visited North Korea in March.
