<Question and Answer Interview> Comeback RIIZE, new song 'Impossible' = ”New Challenge”
The Korean boy group RIIZE's new single 'Impossible' will be released in just one day, raising expectations for the group.
RIIZE's prologue single 'Impossible' will be released at 6 p.m. on the 18th on various music sites and the music video on Youtube's SMTOWN channel.
'Impossible' features a rhythmic house beat and a mysterious atmosphere of synthesizers, and the lyrics include the message that even if you think it is impossible, the moment you move forward together toward the same dream, nothing is impossible any more. RIIZE' Impossible' to the dream of aspiration and trust in each other, 'RIIZE-style' house music and house dance previewed the 'RIIZE style' received high attention.

Q. What did you think when you first heard 'Impossible'? What are some of the points of appreciation?
-ANTON：First of all, the house beat stuck in my ears. Above all, it was easy to listen to. If 'Love 119' was a song suitable for winter, 'Impossible' is cool and perfect for the warm weather we've been having lately. The best part of the show was the house dance performance. The dance break at the end is cool, and the house drum beat that plays throughout the song is great, so please listen to it a lot!
Q, When should we listen to 'Impossible'? What is the best time to watch it that you would recommend to BRIIZE (official fandom name)?
- SOHEE: 'Impossible' is a good song to listen to anytime, not because it is our song, but if I had to choose one viewing timing for BRIIZE, I think it is perfect when exercising. The fast, breathless beat goes well with running machines, so please listen to "Impossible" while running. (Laughs)
Q. I heard that you took house dance lessons for this performance.
-WONBIN: I was looking forward to learning new things and showing you the growth of RIIZE, as the name implies. I also thought that Brother SHOTARO, who has been dancing for a long time, had a good basic dance technique that suited the house dance well, and Brother EUNSEOK was also very good at the fast step dance because of his light movement.
Q. You said that 'Impossible' was harder than 'Siren' in terms of performance. If you had to pick a keying (core) point, what would it be?
- SHOTARO: I had learned a little house dance when I was a kid, but this was the first time I tried it with the members, so I think I struggled a bit to get used to the movements that use a lot of legs and to keep my balance. Still, the whole process of getting the hang of it while taking lessons was interesting. I think the keying point of the performance is that you get to see a fresh and new 'RIIZE' look.
Q. What were some of the memorable moments while shooting the music video for 'Impossible'?
- SHOTARO: We shot it in Lisbon, Portugal, and I hope that you will pay attention to the house dance of 'RIIZE' that harmonizes with the wonderful atmosphere of Lisbon. There are many memorable episodes, but the moment I remember the most is when the members and I went on a yacht for another shoot that was different from the music video. The weather was beautiful and the view from the top of the yacht was beautiful. What kind of video it is is still a secret, but many of them are about to come out, so please look forward to them!
Q. RIIZE's own genre 'emotional pop' is to express the various emotions experienced by the members through music.
- SUNGCHAN: 'Impossible' is a song that fits the sentence "Nothing is impossible. The activities of RIIZE will continue after the fan concert in early May and the mini-album in June, and I think this song prepares our hearts to run while looking only at each other from now on. In particular, I think the message of RIIZE represents our feelings that we can make the impossible possible if we share the same dream.
Q. How do you feel about the release of the new song and what would you like to say to BRIIZE?
- SHOTARO: Please look forward to the song as it is a new challenge for RIIZE! I am nervous because it has been a long time since my last comeback, but I am happy to see BRIIZE, whom I have wanted to meet for a long time! I will try my best not to get too excited on stage and have fun. (Laughs)
- EUNSEOK: We are going to meet you through 'Impossible,' a new challenge in house music, and we will show you "RIIZE growing through challenges, so please give us a lot of support!
