Netanyahu: ”We will make our own decisions regarding how to deal with Iran”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said last weekend that he would "make the decision himself" on how to respond to Iranian drone and missile attacks.
According to CNN and other sources on the 17th (local time), Prime Minister Netanyahu expressed his gratitude to his friends who supported Israel's defense at a cabinet meeting that day.
"I thank them. They gave me all kinds of suggestions and advice. But I want to be very clear: we make our own decisions. Israel will do everything necessary to defend its state," he said.
The remarks made on the same day after meetings with British Foreign Secretary David Cameron and German Foreign Minister Annalena Beerborg, who visited Israel on the same day, are attracting attention.
"These countries are urging Israel to exercise restraint in order to prevent the conflict between Israel and Iran from spreading into a wider Middle East conflict," Cameron said.
"We hope that Israel will act in a way that will prevent the conflict from deepening any further," he said. Foreign Minister Behrebok also said, "We must not allow the Middle East to fall into unpredictable circumstances. The spread of the conflict is a matter for anyone.
"It will not help Israel's security, nor will it help the hostages held in Gaza, the suffering residents of Gaza, or the many people in Iran. I think everyone needs to be careful and responsible.
"We must act with a sense of urgency," he said. The United States and the European Union are also pushing for additional sanctions against Iran.
The move is being explained as a measure to limit the number of Israeli troops stationed in the country. However, Prime Minister Netanyahu has expressed his intention not to submit to such pressure from the international community.
