”Fool of the End” director: ”Yu A In's drug problem? No reason not to release the film”

On the afternoon of the 19th, at the press conference for the new Netflix series "The Last Fool" held at Mondrian Seoul Itaewon in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, director Kim Jin-min spoke about the lead actress Yu A In's
He recalled the time when the release of "The Fool of the End" became uncertain due to drug issues. At the press conference, Ahn Eun Jin, Jung So-young, and Yu A In, who is currently on trial for drug use, were all present.
Ng Woo and Kim Yoon Hye attended. "The Fool of the End" was expected to be Yu A In's next film, but it was postponed due to the impact of drug charges. It was also edited again.
Director Kim said, "To be honest, I thought, 'It will be released, it will be released,' but I think time passed while I thought, 'It won't be released, it won't be released.' I think I forgot about it for a while.
"I was surprised and happy to hear that it was going to be released again," he said, revealing his feelings. "I don't think I ever thought that this film wouldn't be released. There's no reason why it wouldn't be released.
"I would have been surprised if this film hadn't been released, instead of talking about Ah In's issues," he said, expressing his affection. Director Kim said, "I made it so that I wouldn't be embarrassed.
"Those people are the actors, the staff, and the viewers," he said, "I tried as hard as I could, and 'The Fool of the End' is what I was destined to be able to do."
"The Fool of the End" is D-200 until the collision with an asteroid approaching Earth.
The series tells the story of the world and the people who, despite it, continue to live today together until the end. It is based on the novel of the same name by Japanese author Kotaro Isaka. It will be available on Netflix from April 26th.
