President Yoon ”encourages” ruling party... ”We are a political community with a common destiny” = South Korea

South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol met with ruling People Power Party lawmakers on the 24th and said, "I'm grateful to all of you who are working hard and devoting yourself to the country, the people, and the party."
"We are a political community with a shared future that is responsible for the people's livelihood and the future of this country," President Yoon said.
President Yoon spoke in the opening remarks, saying, "I want to thank all the lawmakers who are on the front lines and are deeply involved in the lives of the people."
"As president, it is my duty to listen to your opinions and run the country," he said, "I am listening to your opinions because I need your wisdom, which you have gained a wealth of experience in the National Assembly and in the field of civilian life.
Yoon Jae-ok, acting leader of the ruling party, said in his opening remarks, "Those of us here today are people who have been with us since the birth of the Yoon administration.
"We share the same idea that success is our wish," he said. "Now is the time for you to play your role in order to achieve the kind of governance that the people desire," he said.
"I ask that you continue to communicate and give advice to me and the party," he said. The luncheon was held to encourage the Diet members' parliamentary political activities and to explore the path forward for the ruling party and the government.
At the end of the luncheon, President Yoon said, "You are all colleagues who have been with me since I began politics. We are one team. I hope to strengthen the power of the government and the ruling party."
