DOBEDUB makes first move towards Japanese market...After final approval of Japanese patent, partner with local investment company
DOBEDUB Co., Ltd. (CEO: Ahn Sung-jin) has signed a business agreement with AIGATE Co., Ltd. (AIGATE) to enter the Japanese market as the first pioneer in the global voice business.
DOBEDUB announced that it had signed a contract with DobeDub Inc. (based in Tokyo, CEO: Masahiro Takeo). Sa Jeong-beom, head of DobeDub's business in Japan, said, "DOBEDUB signed a contract in February of this year.
We have patents in Korea, the US and Japan through our Japanese patent registration, but even before the patent registration, we have been in communication with many related companies in Japan.
"We were in the position of waiting to see the results, but since the official approval, many companies have shown a keen interest, which is very encouraging," he said. "AIGA, a competent marketing and investment company,
We are extremely grateful that TE saw the value in DOBEDUB and are confident that our two companies can achieve great growth together."
AIGATE CEO Masahiro Takeo said, "I was very surprised to hear that users can freely change the voice actors of media content, consume it, and own it.
It's a very groundbreaking idea and solution. Content marketing based on audio copyrights is definitely not a small business, so we will be receiving interest from the US patent registration in 2022.
"We have been bringing this technology to Japan, but now that the patent has been registered in our home country (Japan), we have become more confident," he said. "We are looking forward to expanding our business to a large scale with AIGATE's networking capabilities with Japanese content platform companies."
On February 16th of this year, DOBEDUB was awarded the patent for its core BM, "User Active Selection," by the Japan Patent Office.
After the "Voice Casting System" was finalized, in order to secure a base in the Japanese market, we have been working with "Japan Business Revitalization, Management Consulting, M&A and Investment Specialist Company
"AIGATE Group is a company with strong investment and marketing capabilities," said Ahn Seong-jin, CEO of DOBEDUB.
Through this agreement, AIGATE will formally establish a corporation in Japan, and will serve as a base for voice copyright-based content services in Japan, as well as secure voice artists and form partnerships.
DOBEDUB plans to actively pursue public relations and marketing, including signing contracts with major voice banks, to ensure that its audio content is widely used, in keeping with DOBEDUB's motto of being a global voice bank.
DOBEDUB CEO Kim Chang-hwan said, "There is already a lot of interest from webtoon and web novel companies in Korea, and they all want global services.
A platform will be established to introduce domestic content to the domestic market (Korea), and content businesses doing business through DOBEDUB will be able to expand into the global market.
"We were able to give our artists more opportunities to expand their audio copyright market, including content in Japan," he said. "We will continue to work hard to expand into the U.S. market."
He expressed his aspirations.
