The British economic newspaper Financial Times (FT) reported on the 28th (local time) citing sources.
"North Korea's economic situation has improved significantly in recent months thanks to supplies of food, raw materials and oil from Russia," the report said.
Many of North Korea's factories have been operating at over capacity recently.
The reason why North Korea has become closer to Russia is the Ukraine war that began in 2022. Peter Ward, a research fellow at the Se Jeong Institute, a private research institute in South Korea, said:
