Lee Jung selected as one of the 100 most influential Asians in the US

Actor Lee Jung-jae has been selected as one of the "100 Most Influential Asians (A100)" by the US-based Gold House.
"A100" is a non-profit organization that supports cultural artists in the Asia-Pacific region.
The list is published annually by Gold House, which selects 100 Asians who have had a major impact on American culture and society.
House said about Lee Jung, "Lee Jung is a South Korean actor, director and producer who made his TV series in 1993.
Since his debut through the drama, Lee Jung has been active not only in Korea but also around the world as of 2024. Lee Jung-jae is the first Korean and non-English speaking work to win the 74th Prime Minister's Award for Best Actress in a Singles' Award with the drama "Squid Game".
He directed, wrote, produced and starred in the successful film "HUNT," which won a Livetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a TV Series and premiered at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.
"Lee Jung-jae will not stop moving forward in 2024, and will be directing the latest film in the world's greatest IP, Star Wars, titled Acolyte, as a Jedi Master.
"The second season of 'Squid Game,' which has captivated viewers all over the world, is scheduled to be released in the second half of 2024," he said, explaining the reason for his selection.
The Star Wars TV series "The Acolyte," starring Lee Jung-jae, will be released worldwide on Disney+ on June 5th.
