Nam Goong Min wins Best Actor award at the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards, beating out Ryu Seung Ryong and Kim Soo Hyun...Thanks to the screenwriter of ”Lovers”

Actor Nam Goong Min won the Best Actor award for his role in "Lovers." The 60th Baeksang Arts Awards were held at the COEXD Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 7th at 5 p.m.
The MCs were Shin Dong-yup, Suzy (former Miss A), and Park Bo-Gum. On this day, Nam Goong Min was the host of the show, along with "Moving" Ryu Seung Ryong and "Queen of Tears" Kim Soo Hyun.
He beat out a number of other strong contenders to win the TV award for Best Actor, while "Lovers" had previously won the TV Series award.
In response, Nam Goong Min said, "The director has a lot of stories about our 'Lovers'.
I'll skip that part for now. I had a great time acting with the great staff, and I'm really grateful to receive such a big award."
He continued, "I've come to the Baeksang Arts Awards a few times, but I just sat down and left. Today I'm happy to be able to come up and speak."
"There is someone I need to thank. It is our scriptwriter. Every time I receive a script, even though it is very difficult on set, I am always happy and touched by it.
It seems like you were reading a book. You're watching, aren't you? Thank you very much." Finally, Nam Goong Min said, "I will continue to do my best in the future and hope to see you in better works.
