South Korean President Yoon speaks with Ukrainian President over the phone, invited to Ukraine Peace Summit

South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol held a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at his request, the presidential office said on the 14th.
President Yoon told President Zelensky, "The Korean government is actively participating in the international community's efforts to restore peace and post-war reconstruction in Ukraine, and we will continue to support Ukraine."
"We will continue to provide the necessary support and cooperation to the Russian people," he said. Meanwhile, President Zelensky expressed his hope that "solidarity and cooperation with our country will continue as the war continues," and expressed his support for the Korean government.
President Zelensky expressed his gratitude for the support of the Ukrainian government under the follow-up measures of the "Ukrainian Peace and Solidarity Initiative."
The two leaders agreed to work together to bring about an early end to the war, restore peace, and promote freedom, peace, and prosperity in Ukraine.
