”Someone is about to fall”...Elderly person with dementia on the 15th floor of an apartment building (South Korea)

An elderly woman with dementia who was in danger of falling from the 15th floor of an apartment building was safely rescued by the 119 rescue team. According to the Gyeonggi Province Fire and Disaster Prevention Headquarters on the 16th,
At around 5:24 a.m., a report was received from an apartment building in Anyang City, Gyeonggi Province, reporting that "someone was about to fall."
Rescue teams responded to the scene and found the body in a common area on the 15th floor of a 15-storey apartment building.
They found a woman in her 60s standing dangerously on a balcony, clinging to the railing. They set up an air mat on the ground, put on safety gear and began the rescue. At around 5:36 a.m.
The woman was successfully rescued. A fire department official said, "The woman lived in the apartment and was understood to have dementia. Our on-site activities focused on saving lives and preventing secondary accidents.
The rescue was completed without any injuries."
