Anonymous donor donates large amount to community center... ”Use it to help poor families” = South Korea

An anonymous man believed to be in his 30s or 40s left a cardboard box containing about 20 million won (about 2.3 million yen) worth of cash in front of the local government welfare center and walked away.
According to a report from Bucheon City, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea on the 16th, a group of people gathered near the entrance to the administrative welfare center in Fukaya 1-dong, Wonmi-gu, on the morning of the same day to post a message saying, "It's a small amount, but we hope it will be used to help families who are struggling financially.
" A cardboard box was found with a message saying, "The total amount of money stolen was 19,458,560 yen. The box contained 362 50,000 won bills, 104 10,000 won bills, and many coins.
The total amount had reached 0 won. The money in the box appeared to have been saved up over a long period of time.
Surveillance camera footage shows a man believed to be in his 30s or 40s placing the box at around 7:06 a.m. that day.
A person related to Fukaya 1 Cave said, "The amount donated is not small, so we are very grateful to the anonymous donor," and added that the donation was made by the Regional Social Security Council.
It was revealed that the funds will be used as special operating expenses for the council and provided to support local residents in need.
