Surveillance camera footage shows a man believed to be in his 30s or 40s placing the box at around 7:06 a.m. that day.
A person related to Fukaya 1 Cave said, "The amount donated is not small, so we are very grateful to the anonymous donor," and added that the donation was made by the Regional Social Security Council.
It was revealed that the funds will be used as special operating expenses for the council and provided to support local residents in need.
