According to a weekly survey conducted in the third week of May 2024 targeting voters aged 18 and over, President Yoon's approval rating was calculated to be 31.4%, up 0.8 percentage points from the previous week's survey.
Disapproval fell 1.1% to 65.5%, while "I don't know" rose 0.4% to 31.0%. Real Meter also conducted a survey of 1,001 voters aged 18 and over on the 16th and 17th of this month.
According to a survey of party approval ratings conducted among 10,000 people, the ruling party "People's Power" received 35.0% of the votes, while the Democratic Party of Korea (DPJ) received 34.5%. This was followed by the Fatherland Reform Party with 13.5%, the New Reform Party with 3%, and the New Democratic Party with 3%.
The order of support was A New Future Party with 1.3% and the Progressive Party with 1.3%, followed by other parties at 2.2% and independents at 6.8%. The ruling party's support increased by 21% from the previous survey, while the Democratic Party's support fell by 6.1%.
