”2024 Korea on Stage” held... ”New Jeans” performs at Geunjeongjeon Hall

The 2024 Korea on Stage - New Korea Festival, organized by the National Cultural Heritage Administration and managed by the National Cultural Heritage Foundation and KBS Korea Broadcasting System, is about to begin.

'Korea on Stage' kicks off.

　2024 Korea on Stage - New Generation' ('Korea on Stage'), organised by the National Cultural Heritage Administration and hosted by the National Cultural Heritage Foundation and KBS Korean Broadcasting System, will be held at 7:30pm today, 21st, on the special stage in front of Heungreamun, Gyeongbokgung Palace.

　'Korea on Stage' is the first performance themed on a national cultural heritage site representing South Korea: following the previous performances at Cheong Wa Dae in 2022 and London's Wembley Arena in 2023, this year's performance will be held at Gyeongbokgung, the legal palace of South Korea, to celebrate the establishment of the National Cultural Heritage Office.

　Daniel from 'New Jeans' will be the sole MC for this edition of 'Korea on Stage', with 'New Jeans', Kim So-hyun, Seong Joon-ho & the musical 'Empress Myeongseong' team, Chung Sung-hwa & the musical 'Hero' team, Song Ga-in, Jang Min-ho, Hyorin, Choi Yuri, fromis_9, ATBO, ALL(H)OURS, Deep Under and other top domestic artists representing various genres will perform on stage.

　New Jeans' will be the first K-pop girl group to perform on a special stage at the Hall of Government Affairs, and expectations are high.

　Korea on Stage' will be broadcast on KBS 2TV at 11.25pm on the 21st and distributed to 142 countries via KBS World.
