The suspect is accused of brandishing a weapon at a man several times, causing his death (murder).
The police deployed a profiler from the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Scientific Investigation Team to interview Choi twice on the 10th and 11th.
The COPASS diagnostic test was reportedly carried out after the case was referred to the prosecution on the 14th. Choi reportedly purchased the murder weapon at a supermarket in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, before the crime.
Police investigation revealed that after the crime, he changed into different clothes.
Speaking to reporters in 2018, he said that it was "not an accidental crime but a planned crime," but added that it was "not a crime that was planned over a long period of time."
