”You're pretty, let's sleep together”... ”Police” arrested for asking suspect's mother for sex = South Korea

In South Korea, a serving police officer was sentenced to prison for allegedly asking the mother of a suspect in a crime for sex. The prosecution demanded a prison sentence at the Seoul Southern District Court's hearing on the morning of the 21st.
The prosecution requested that the one-year prison sentence be imposed on the indecent assault charges levelled against police inspector Kim.
"I would like you to take into consideration the fact that he has caused irreparable harm not only to the victim but also to her family, and that he has consistently maintained an attitude of no remorse," he said.
Meanwhile, the defendant denied the crime. The defendant's lawyer said, "I suddenly drank a large amount of alcohol and became intoxicated, which led to me making inappropriate remarks.
"I deeply regret my inappropriate comments," he said, but added, "When the defendant made the obscene remarks, I was in a state where I could not contact him."
"I sincerely apologize," he said, adding, "However, I was drunk and did not recognize who the person was, and there is no truth to the fact that I engaged in forced indecent acts."
Guard Kim is accused of privately meeting with the mother of a suspect in a case he was handling in late 2022, making physical contact with her and demanding sexual relations.
