「女性が1人で山に来てはいけない」…中年女性に警告されたユーチューバー=韓国
”Women shouldn't go to the mountains alone” - YouTuber warned by middle-aged woman (South Korea)
A video of a middle-aged woman warning mountain climbers who are climbing mountains alone, saying, "Don't go to the mountains alone," has become a hot topic.
On the 25th of last month, "Heehee" released a video taken at Samaksan Mountain in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do. A middle-aged woman in the video warns, "Women climbing alone should not be allowed to climb mountains."
The video was posted under the title "An Auntie Gives Advice to YouTubers" and caused a huge stir online on the 28th. In the video, the YouTuber said, "There are really no people here today.
"It's been a while since I've experienced something like this, so I'm a little scared," he said, and started climbing alone. While he was climbing, the YouTuber met a middle-aged woman named A, who told him that she was climbing alone.
"An older woman went to the mountains alone. Her friend was supposed to join her, but suddenly couldn't come," said A.
"There, a man molested me and killed me. It was about five years ago," he said, recounting an incident that happened while he was climbing the mountain. "I always tell my friends not to come alone, and to come with at least two people.
"I'm 63 years old, but I don't come alone. Coming alone isn't about courage, it's about danger. You should never come alone to the mountains in rural areas," he emphasized repeatedly.
The YouTuber said, "I was severely scolded. I came alone because I thought it was necessary to take a day to organize my thoughts, but I understood after being scolded, so I will try not to come alone as much as possible."
I had never been to the mountain before, but hearing stories like that scared me." The YouTuber then ended the video by showing him descending the mountain.
Internet users who saw this commented, "Two or more is better than one, whether it's a woman or a man. Knives are for men.
Responses included, "They don't discriminate against women," "There are no CCTVs in the mountains, so it's dangerous," and "You shouldn't go alone in the mountains in Seoul after dark."
