In South Korea, police have arrested a man who used an overseas messenger that allows voice chat and video sharing to buy and sell sexual exploitation material of minors.
The government has filed charges against over 100 people involved in trading sexually exploitative material of minors through group chats on the social media app Discord, and is currently investigating the matter.
They are accused of using a Discord group chat room to illegally buy and sell child sexual exploitation material.
An investigation has begun after police found a posting selling videos of sexual exploitation of elderly people. The police plan to send the case to the prosecution. A Busan Nambu Police Station spokesman said, "The investigation is currently ongoing, so we will notify you of the exact details."
