The series will be directed by Tsukikawa Sho, director of the hit film "I Want to Eat Your Pancreas," with Korean production company YONG FILM in charge of overall production, and is scheduled to be released as a Netflix series in Japan.
In particular, this work is attracting attention for its ensemble of leading Korean and Japanese actors, including Han Hyo Ju, Shun Oguri, Jin Akanishi, and Yuri Nakamura.
In the play, Han Hyo Ju plays the heroine Hana, a genius chocolatier who has been hiding her true identity due to her scopophobia, while Oguri Shun plays a chocolate lover who suffers from germaphobia due to past trauma.
Han Hyo Ju will play the role of Fujiwara Sosuke, the representative of a rate shop. Regarding his participation in the work, he said, "I am happy to be able to appear in a collaborative work between Korea and Japan.
I am approaching filming with the mindset of a new actor, feeling a fresh sense of tension. I will do my best until the very end to create a good work. I ask for your interest and support."
Meanwhile, filming for a new series starring Han Hyo Ju is progressing smoothly in Japan and is scheduled to be released exclusively worldwide on Netflix in 2025.
