Jaejung, ”I was born into a family of nine siblings and didn't have much money. I was embarrassed when I ordered takeout food in middle school.”

Singer Kim Jaejung reminisced about his childhood. On the May 31st broadcast of KBS 2TV's "New Product Launch - Convenience Store Restaurant" (hereafter "Convenience Store Restaurant"), Jaejung reminisced about his childhood.
He makes gamjatang (a stew of pork backbone and gamjatang) that is filled with memories from his childhood and the taste of his mother. In the process, Jaejung reminisces about his memories and recreates the taste, showing his amazing cooking skills.
Of course, Jaejung was not rich, but he was loved by his family. His childhood was filled with love.
Expectations are high for the story of Jaejung, a dutiful son who grows up to be a good son. In the VCR that will be released on this day, Jaejung receives a parcel from his mother. Inside the parcel are the vegetables that his mother has lovingly grown in her vegetable garden.
The menu was filled with ingredients and delicious seasonings that he had made himself. Soon after, he had a video call with his parents and decided to make his mother's gamjatang. In the previous episode, JAEJUNG revealed that when he was young,
He revealed that his mother ran a gamjatang restaurant, and he grew up learning from watching his mother cook. When her son asked for the recipe, Jaejung's mother explained it in detail.
Jaejung, who remembered his mother's explanation, quickly started making gamjatang. He even used his own know-how to recreate his mother's special recipe.
After completing his mother's gamjatang, JAEJUNG seemed happy, saying, "It's fun because I make it exactly according to my mother's recipe," and "It's really delicious."

As was a big hot topic in the previous episode, Jaejung has eight older sisters. Jaejung recalled his childhood, saying, "My parents were happy raising nine siblings, but they weren't rich."
It was a time when they were financially struggling. Jaejung recalled the time when he helped his mother deliver gamjatang as a middle school student, saying, "I was young and it was embarrassing.
I achieved it. I am my mother's son," he confessed. Jaejung said that even in difficult situations, he nurtured his dreams and always had a goal in his heart that he could never forget.
"I had two goals: to buy a new car for my father, and to buy a nice house for my parents," he confessed. And, of course, he achieved his goal, but he still regrets it.
Chef Lee Yong-bok of "Convenience Store Restaurant" said, "Jaejung is good-looking and comes from a wealthy family.
He praised the youngest member, Jaejung, for being devoted to his parents and full of charm, saying, "I thought it was the best way to make gamjatang." Jaejung has boundless love for his parents, so I wonder if he can recreate the taste of his mother's gamjatang exactly.
