Korean actors Jang Ki-young and Park So-yi showed off their exceptional father-daughter chemistry through an art report.

Fashion magazine ‘DAZED KOREA’ released a pictorial and interview with actors Jang Ki-young and Park So-yi through its June issue.

Jang Ki-young and Park So-yi, who are currently starring in the JTBC Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Not a Hero’, play Gi-joo (Jang Ki-young) and Ina (Park So-yi), the youngest child of a psychic family who has lost the ability to travel through time due to depression and the ability to read the mind of others by looking into their eyes respectively. Ina (Park So-yi), the youngest member of a psychic family with the ability to read the hearts of others by looking into their eyes.

For this pictorial, Jang Ki-young said, "I've done a lot of pictorial shoots, but today I felt a little different. It was not a typical concept. I definitely want to open it up again when time goes by." He laughed and showed that it was the first time he had played the role of a father, and said "While filming, I looked into Park So-yi's eyes and said my lines, but there was an energy that I could draw out because of that. Soi seems to have that kind of power", he praised.

Park So-yi said of Jang Ki-young, who played her father, "If they had a closer relationship (in the drama), I think it would have been a better fit," which resonated with the on-set staff. She was happy to be able to digest Ina's character and wear the uniform one step ahead of her, and said, "It's very interesting to read new stories all the time and see myself in them. I love role-playing," she said of her love for acting.

‘Not a Hero’ is also known as Jang Ki-young's first film back after his military discharge, and has become a hot topic of conversation. In response, Jang Ki-young said, "I'm very nervous because I'm greeting viewers for the first time in three years, and I've learnt since entering my 30s that both human and actor Jang Ki-young become more energetic when they socialise with people. I want to continue to act hard, travel from time to time, walk freely in good weather and try not to miss out on the important things in life."

‘Not a Hero’ airs every Saturday and Sunday at 10.30pm.
