China's ride-hailing app Didi Chuxing sees highest average daily transactions in first quarter ever - Chinese report
Didi Chuxing, China's largest ride-hailing app, recorded an average of 32.5 million transactions per day in the country, a record high.
According to the financial report released by the company on the 29th, sales for the first quarter of 2024 (January-March) are expected to increase 14.9% year-on-year to 4.
9,072 million former (approximately 1,084 billion yen). Net loss was 1,083 million former (approximately 24 billion yen), and adjusted EBITA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) was 923 million former (approximately 20.4 billion yen).

The company's domestic and overseas businesses are both maintaining a stable growth rate. The number of transactions through its core platform is also continuing to increase.
The total number of transactions increased by 30.3% year-on-year to 3.75 billion. Of these, transactions within China increased by 27.1% year-on-year to 2.95 billion, and international transactions increased by 2.2% year-on-year to 2.95 billion.
Business transactions increased 44% to 790 million. The average daily domestic transactions were 32.5 million and the average daily international transactions were 8.7 million, both record highs.
