Actor Kim Young-gon has undergone emergency surgery for spinal stenosis. On the 30th of last month, Channel A's "My Father is a Flower" featured Kim Gura, Kim Young-gon, and Ahn
Jae Wook, Shin Sung Woo, and Kim Won Jun appeared on the show. On the same day, MC Kim Gura told Kim Young Gon, "Injured fighting spirit."
In response, Kim Young-gon said, "I originally had spinal stenosis, but I pushed myself too hard.
"Maybe because of that, the symptoms returned, so I had to have another operation on emergency basis. The pain was terrible," he said, revealing that he had undergone emergency surgery.
Kim Won Jun and Shin Sung Woo were concerned, "Is everything okay?"
"But today, I was able to meet you all, and it gave me strength. I've forgotten all about the pain now," he added. Kim Young-gon reassured his juniors, and Kim Gura said, "I can hear your voice.
"I have the strength, so I don't have to worry about anything else," he said. Meanwhile, Kim Young-gon married a non-celebrity woman in 1977, but divorced in 1996.
He has two sons, Yeongwoo (real name Kim SungHoon), a second son Cha HyunWoo (real name Kim YoungHoon), and a three-year-old "old kid" who is the youngest.
