Actor Ha Jung Woo bought a luxury home in Seocho-gu, Seoul for 2.7 billion won (about 270 million yen) in May 2013 and lived in it for 11 years. The house was sold to South Korean boy band Jeju-do.
It has been revealed that SHINee member Minho has become the new owner. According to a copy of the court registry released on the 15th (today), Ha Jung Woo is currently residing in Chamu-u, Seocho-gu, Seoul, which he purchased in May 2013.
The Tierra House (244.91 square meters) in Jamwon-dong was sold in May 2023. The new owner is Minho, who will complete the ownership transfer registration in August 2024.
Ha Jung Woo appears to have continued to live in the existing house for a while after the sale. No separate mortgage has been confirmed, and Minho paid 5 billion won (approximately 500 million yen) in cash.
Tierra House is located at the southern end of the Hannam Bridge and is known for its panoramic view of the Hangang River.
The structure is for a total of 15 households. Each household is built with a private area of 244.91 square meters (commercial area of 304.48 square meters) and is designed with 5 rooms including a dressing room and 3 bathrooms.
After selling Tierra House, Ha Jung Woo moved to Upper House Namsan in Namsan, Seoul in July last year.
As a result, he made a market profit of 2.3 billion won (approximately 230 million yen) over 10 years, which is close to the purchase price.
It was revealed that Ha Jung Woo and Minho had become close friends after appearing together on TVING's travel variety show "Walking Ticketing" in January 2023.
