Cho Kuk, the head of the Fatherland Reform Party, visited the Presidential Office on the 1st and urged the 22nd National Assembly to accept the Special Prosecution Act for Corporal Choi.

"We demanded that the National Assembly re-vote on the Special Prosecutor's Act on Military Affairs. We requested President Yoon to appoint a special prosecutor," he said. "And then what happened? The people's power united and raised the people's demands.
"What do you think President Yoon did after that? He told the People Power lawmakers, 'Let bygones be bygones.'"
