Mu and Suzy are a perfect pair, just like a real couple, and have been receiving enthusiastic support, to the point that some even hope they will start dating.
A recent interview took place at a cafe in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
Director Kim Tae Yeon said, "The tension of the plot is very strong.
"I don't have the skills to direct, and I don't have the talent to direct, so the only thing I could trust was the combination of actors," he said. "This is a film that asks whether emotional communication with machines is possible, so
"It's not something that comes out simply because we're acting on set, but it means we end up becoming much closer than we expected."
He continued, "At first, I had never seen them together, but in the reading
So I thought, "I can do this." Park BoGum and Suzy rehearsed a lot, like they were doing a play. They took pictures of the little things that appeared in the film, and created an atmosphere of going back and forth between friends and lovers.
"So we became very close off-camera as well," he said, adding, "It would have been difficult if the actors' atmosphere hadn't come across, but it did, so I was happy as a director."
Above all, Park BoGum and Suzy have been working hard to promote "Wonderland" as soon as its release date was confirmed. Director Kim Tae Yeon responded, "Both of them are excellent.
He also said, "In fact, in 'Wonderland,' there is a part for Tang Wei, and there are parts for Jung Yu-mi and Choi Woo-shik, so physically it's only one third of the total, but
"I'm really grateful that whenever there's an opportunity, he takes the initiative in promoting us," she said. In response to speculation that they are actually dating, she said, "We're so close that it makes me wonder.
"They look good. They might be fooling me, but from what I can see, it doesn't seem like it," he said, before drawing laughter by adding, "They seem like good friends."

The film tells the story of a man reuniting with a loved one through the online calling service "Wonderland," and is scheduled to be released in Korea on the 5th.
