North Korea's ”dirty balloon” tactic is ”disgusting” and ”irresponsible and immature”

On the 3rd (local time), the US State Department denounced North Korea's dirty balloons as a "disgusting tactic" and called for an "immediate end."
A US State Department spokesman said at a regular press conference on the same day that North Korea had launched a dirty balloon into South Korea.
"This is clearly an annoying tactic," it said. "It is irresponsible and childish and must be stopped immediately. We condemn this behavior."
In response to the question, "Do you think it has anything to do with China?", he replied, "I have not heard that it has anything to do with China.
At a press conference on the 30th of last month, a deputy spokesman for the US Department of Defense responded to the question, "Does the US have plans to launch dirty balloons in response to North Korea's dirty balloon provocations?" by saying, "No."
A deputy spokesperson for the US State Department also said at a press conference on the same day, "We view any flying object as a provocative move that could cause instability," and "We will continue to hold close discussions with Japan and South Korea on how to respond."
Since its failed launch of a military reconnaissance satellite on the 27th of last month, North Korea has continued to launch dirty balloons one after another in its provocations toward South Korea.
