Former South Korean First Lady files lawsuit... Direct response to ”luxurious overseas trip” offensive

Kim Jung-sook, the wife of former President Moon Jae-in, who had remained silent in the face of the South Korean ruling party's offensive of "luxurious overseas trips," has finally taken "legal action."

A Democratic Party lawmaker held a press conference at the National Assembly on the 4th and said, "Mrs. Kim plans to file a formal complaint against those involved in the unfounded and malicious attack on the First Lady's normal diplomatic activities."
"Just because the former First Lady holds a public position, it is not conducive to the development of our society and politics to turn a blind eye to such fake news," he continued.
"It is a decision that was made after much deliberation," he explained. "The plaintiff will be Mrs. Kim herself," he added, "We plan to decide who the target of the lawsuit will be after legal review."
