China's e-commerce logistics index hits highest record in six years, rising for third consecutive month - Chinese media

The China Logistics Purchasing Federation announced the China E-Commerce Logistics Index for May on the 5th. The index has risen for three consecutive months, reaching a record high for the first time in six years.

The indexes for fulfillment rate, satisfaction rate, and actual performance rate are increasing. The total business volume index for e-commerce logistics increased by 2.1 points year-on-year to 129.8 points, showing a continuing upward trend.
The volume index increased by 1.8 points to 129.7 points. Both are up nearly 30% compared to the same period last year.
By region, the total business volume index increased in all regions across the country.
The eastern region saw the largest increase, while the central region exceeded the national average. By product type, demand for outdoor sports equipment and travel goods has increased rapidly.
