Korean tourist ”picked” in the Philippines ends up ”dying”

A Korean tourist was pickpocketed in Angeles, Philippines, and was seriously injured and died while undergoing treatment.
The man was pickpocketed in the tourist destination of Angeles and seriously injured, and was taken to hospital, but was confirmed dead on the 3rd of this month, about 10 days later.
A South Korean Foreign Ministry official said, "Since becoming aware of the incident, the local embassy has been providing necessary consular support to the bereaved family.
"We have also requested the local police authorities to conduct a prompt and fair investigation," he said. Local police authorities are currently investigating the case in order to apprehend the perpetrators.
Meanwhile, in November last year in Angeles City, Philippines, a Korean man in his 50s was stabbed with a deadly weapon by two robbers, leaving him seriously injured.
