”Not a Hero” gains global popularity on Netflix

The JTBC drama ‘Though I'm Not a Hero’ is attracting keen interest. It appears to be gaining popularity beyond Korea and overseas.

According to Netflix, on the 5th, ‘Not a Hero’ ranked fourth in the Netflix Global Top 10 TV (non-English) category with 17.4 million hours of accumulated viewing time, and has been in the global Top 10 for four consecutive weeks. In particular, it has received a good response as it has successfully entered the top 10 in 32 countries (based on 27th May ~ 2nd June).

It is also highly topical and has been receiving strong interest as it occupied the second place for four consecutive weeks in the TV-OTT drama topicality survey results released by Good Data Corporation, a K-contents online competitiveness analysis institute.

The 10th episode aired on the 2nd revealed a tearful kiss ending that continued with Gijoo's (Jang Giyeon) heartbreaking confession, amplifying their curiosity about the future. Their relationship took a new turn when Gi-joo confessed, "I can't do without you’ after learning about the last scam Da-hye (Jung Woo-hee) had pulled to keep her alive. Here, even his daughter Ina learns of Gi-joo's death, adding to the tension. With only two episodes left until the final episode, all eyes are on Gi-joo and Da-hae to see whether they can defy fate and save each other."

Episode 11 of the JTBC Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Not a Hero, But’ will be broadcast at 10:30pm on the 8th.
