The prosecutorial investigator suspected of first leaking information about the drug investigation into the late actor Lee Sun Kyun has avoided arrest.

On the 5th, the prosecutors' office dismissed a prior arrest warrant for Investigator A of the Incheon District Prosecutors' Office, who was suspected of leaking professional secrets.
Chief Judge Song said, "The suspect has admitted to most of the facts of the allegations, and there is no risk of him fleeing or destroying evidence."
"Important evidence has also been collected faithfully," he said. A said, "Actor Lee Sun Kyun is under police investigation for suspected drug use," according to a Gyeonggi daily newspaper.
It is suspected that the information was leaked to a newspaper reporter. On October 19th of last year, the media outlet published an exclusive article with the headline "Top star L under investigation for drug use."
In response to this, the police conducted house searches at the Incheon District Prosecutors' Office and the Incheon National Police Agency in January of this year to investigate the initial leak and reporting process, and in the process, Mr. A's suspicions were discovered.
The late Lee Sun Kyun, who had previously been under police investigation for suspected drug use, was found dead on December 27th of last year.
