"Gong-ju: Tears of a 17-year-old" marked a turning point in her acting career. She expressed her heartfelt desire for victims to be comforted, and won many prestigious awards, including the Best Actress award at the 35th Blue Dragon Film Awards.
During a recent interview with Herald POP at a cafe in Sogyeok-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, Jung Woo
Hee reflected that everyone came together to make "Han Gong-ju: Tears of a 17-year-old." On the same day, Chun Woo Hee said, "It's already been 10 years since the film was released, and 12 years since we started filming."
"To coincide with the 10th anniversary, we had a reunion for 'Han Gong-ju.' The director, as well as actors and staff who had time, gathered together," he revealed.
He continued, "At the time, there were actors who had just started acting, but they all said they were happy to have started with 'Han Gong-ju'.
Chun Woo Hee added, "We didn't have a production budget, but we gathered the feelings of each individual and made it with passion. I was able to learn that precious feeling early on.
"What I was most grateful for was that they were able to wholeheartedly connect with the story we were trying to tell," he said.
At the same time, "I want to continue to feel that gratitude with each work.
